Crazy Miner
Crazy Miner is a free-to-play game on smartphone. In this game, the player controls a dwarf taking part in a mining contest. He must combine all his tools, such as a pickaxe or dynamite, to collect the more minerals he can and thus winning the contest against other players.
The game uses mechanics such as procedural content, equipment upgrade or regular events with specific rules to renew the experience and keep the players involved. This game was commissioned by Gameloft as a school project and developed on two weeks by a team of thirteen people, including six game designers My tasks :
- Lead Game Designer
As a Lead Game Designer on this project, my main task was to manage a team of five Game Designers. I had to establish the tasks to realise and dispatch them. I also kept the games mechanics’ global coherence on check, making sure that every feature would blend in with the others and improve the player’s general experience. Another important part of my task was to communicate with the client. I had to report our progress and decisions and to transmit the client’s feedbacks to the rest of the team so that they could take it into account. |
