About me
My name is Adrien Demeure. I'm 29 years old, graduated from the Game Design and Management course at Supinfogame Rubika. I have worked two years as a programmer at Streum On Studio, in France (find out more here), two years as a level scripter and mission designer at Ubisoft Bordeaux (find out more here and here), and a year and a half as a level designer at Game Atelier (find out more here). I'm also teaching at Ynov Bordeaux since 2020 (find out more here). I have always been fascinated by stories and the way games (especially video games) can make us live things extraordinary.
I am serious and passionate and am always trying to improve myself and my creations. I enjoy exploring new roles and expanding my knowledge to new domains. As such, I enjoy every aspect of a game designer’s job. I’m especially fond of level and narrative design that allows me to fully express my passion for storytelling. I have also gathered some experience with programming, especially with Unreal Engine 4's blueprint system and C++. I believe that a game’s main objective is to provide fun to the player by giving him something new that he couldn’t feel otherwise. Video games are to me the best media to involve the player in a story and make him live it completely. Aside from video games, I am interested in various types of gaming, such as tabletop RPGs, Trading Card Games or Wargames (especially the various licenses from Games Workshop). I am also an avid reader and an amateur writer, with a strong taste for fantasy, scy-fy or detective novels (Find out more here).
